Branded fibers carry trademark marks. A genuine Invista logo on a hangtag or technical datasheet is an indication that the fiber was supplied under a trademark license. If a vendor says "we use Lycra" but can't show the Invista logo or a license reference, ask for written confirmation. You don't need to be aggressive about it—just ask. A legitimate fabric mill will have that documentation on hand, or it can request it from their supplier.

Step 5: Test a real swatch in the place where it will be used
